Nowadays, there has been an increase in the demand for industry-oriented courses not only among the students but also the industry which seeks job-ready students; since gone are the days when organizations were willing to spend money, resources, and time in training their employees.
Therefore, it becomes all the more important for education entities to offer industry oriented education. The knowledge, skills, and practice of students who study industry-oriented courses are at-par with the requirements of the job that they are going to undertake. Thus, this enhances their opportunity to grab better placement in the industry of their choice.
Manav Rachna International University puts great emphasis on industry-oriented education. At the University, labs have been setup by leading companies like Mitsubishi, Sukam, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India in the broad areas of power electronics, solar energy and automotives. A lively innovation and Incubation centre has been established along with eight Research & Innovation Clusters (RICs), eight Centres of Excellence and a Business Incubator wherein precociously talented and exuberant young students are incubating their dream projects. In fact, the eight Research and Innovation Clusters namely Mechanical, Automobile & Aerospace, Electronics & Electrical, Computing, Molecular Biosciences, Health Sciences & Nutrition, Civil & Architecture Design, Material Science and Atmospheric & Environmental Sciences are actively engaged in cluster research projects in addition to other activities which include Competitions and Projects, Publishing, Sponsored R&D projects, Training in Advanced Areas or future technologies, Industry Linkages, Collaboration & Consultancy and Patents & IPR. And not just that, 70 plus innovation and incubation entrepreneurial ventures started by Manav Rachna’s students and helped and funded by MREI have further added impetus to the entrepreneurial ecosystem prevalent at the campus. 
To further reinforce and strengthen industry-academia interaction, Manav Rachna ensures industry internships with frequent hands-on training for students’ practical exposure.
